Source My Property Academy
/Wow, wow….. pretty much sums up what for us as part of the Source My Property Academy team, was a fantastic weekend!
Our 2 day “workshop” pretty much covered all the basics as to how to source properties. By this, we mean, finding properties, as an investment, or for clients who want to get in on the property ladder, but don’t have time, or don’t live in the investment area.
We look for run down properties where there is an opportunity to make profit. We have our own build teams and project manager who look after this side of things.
But the aim of the weekend was that people could go away with the skills to get out there and find them! We crunched numbers, learnt how to set up a company, put together source packages, be compliant as far as insurances, taxes, and all legalities are concerned, made new friends and colleagues.
We can only speak from our side of things, but the feedback we had was so encouraging and so rewarding for all involved. This was our first teaching weekend, but there will be many more to come!
We want to be different, we want to be personable, and want to impart all of our combined training, as well as experience, on to others. We would like to feel we accomplished that.
