Transformation

It is an amazing thing to see the transformation in action! There are a quite a few children’s stories along those lines – “The Ugly Duckling”, “How the Butterfly got its wings”, and so on, and they all have a lovely ending and create a “feel good” factor.

It’s just the same with a run-down, neglected house. I’m in the wonderful position to see this in action on a daily basis. Everyone along the way plays his or her part – from stripping, wiring, plastering, installing a new kitchen or bathroom, painting, tiling, carpeting, etc, to the point where what was perhaps dirty, even ugly, old, tired, can be given new life!

Very philosophical I know, but it is true. I haven’t yet learnt the art of looking at a property in the “tired” stage, and calculating what it will cost to give it new life, and the numbers can be a fine line, and perhaps the most important thing about the project, but our owners and property sourcing specialists have. They have invested time, money and experience, to ensure that when a client decides to use our services, they are in the best hands. Yes, best, because we care deeply about providing exceptional, personal service, and delivering on our carefully calculated promises. There are no hidden agenda’s or costs, what you see, is what you get.

So, what does this week hold in store? We have so many on the go, but projects include new windows and doors, new kitchen and bathroom almost complete, painting another, followed by new carpets throughout, with a few new ones in the embryonic (or caterpillar) stage!

Below are a few pictures of a new property secured by clients of ours. I must say, we are extremely excited about starting the refurbishments on this one. This is an incredibly large property located in the Gower region of Swansea. The property was secured way below market value by a direct to vendor marketing campaign. Im sure we will have a lot to share on the progress.

And to finish off, a couple of pictures of another project which is now at kitchen and bathroom fitting stage. Soon, it will be ready for paint, decorate and of course then back on for re-sale.
