Spring was in the air?

Hi again

We’re well into the middle of February now, and who were we kidding when we thought Spring was in the air? Perhaps I was getting ahead of myself, and it is only February, after all.

I still find it way too cold to spend any time outside in the garden, even in my (albeit dilapidated) greenhouse! I don’t mind going for walks, as that means moving and warming up, and I have noticed that it is starting to get lighter earlier in the mornings.

I have an early morning alarm clock - a chirpy feathered friend in my very thick hedge. I’m presuming he’s a Robin, as I believe they are the early singers, especially at this time of year when he’s looking for a mate and marking his territory.

Enough of that, and on to property sourcing. One of our viewing days last week took us to a very sought after area in South Wales. The most encouraging thing was that properties to view were few and far between, which made us very excited, as we are in the process of developing a beach front building in the area into 2 separate upmarket flats, that we will most certainly sell on, especially after our experiences that day.

We will be putting in offers on those that we viewed, but not necessarily at the asking prices. We aren’t governed by the asking price, but follow a strict set of guidelines when working out our offers, and make sure that there are at least 2 “exit” strategies, or ways to make a profit, or get your money out. Before making any offers, we ask ourselves “Would I do this deal for myself?”. If the answer is not a resounding “yes”, we won’t do it.

Once the deal is secured, we package it and put it up for offer to our clients.

So, as promised, we are working hard to secure those money-making deals for our clients. Keep an eye on our web site, as well as your email inbox.

With another storm on the way, stay safe, warm and dry.

Until next time…

JB
